Why we choose to not participate with Insurance
The answer is quite simple. Insurance companies do not pay for wellness (or prevention and correction care for that matter).  Health Insurance should not be called "Health Insurance" at all actually.  It should be called "Sick Insurance" or "Catastrophe Insurance, " which is good to have of course for those cases.  Many people think they may have unlimited Chiropractic care for example when in fact, upon reading the fine print, they do not.  As a doctor who chooses to focus on performance, wellness, and prevention education, it makes no sense to participate in their model of care.  As a patient care advocate and one who thinks quality is more important than quantity, I can choose to work for the patient or for big business insurance companies.  I choose the former over the latter.  For chiropractic and acupuncture services, superbills can be provided upon request for submission for Insurance Reimbursement.  If you have any questions or want to know more, please call or email us and we would be happy to explain this policy.
